Epidian 57 – epoxy resin for bonding, laminating and casting
Epidian 57 – epoxy resin for bonding, laminating and casting
Epidian 57 is a modified epoxy resin, which is a clear, viscous liquid with a yellow to light brown color. It is characterized by excellent adhesion to various materials, as well as high mechanical and chemical resistance. Thanks to its properties, it is widely used in bonding, laminating, casting, and impregnation.
Key features:
- High viscosity: ensures excellent bonding and filling properties.
- Excellent adhesion: bonds effectively with metals, glass, ceramics, wood, and many plastics (except PE and PP).
- High mechanical resistance: resistant to impacts, abrasion, and other mechanical stresses.
- Chemical resistance: shows resistance to oils, lubricants, diluted acids, and bases.
- Minimal shrinkage during curing: ensures dimensional stability of the cured material.
Application:
- Bonding: durable joining of metals, glass, ceramics, wood, and plastics (except PE and PP).
- Laminating: production of durable epoxy-glass laminates.
- Casting and impregnation: protection and reinforcement of electronic elements and other components requiring protection.
