PU/2K WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE is a premium two-component material based on modified polyamine-polyol resins and polyisocyanate hardeners. It forms a colored, highly flexible, fast-drying coating that provides reliable protection against water and moisture. Why choose the PU/2K MEMBRANE?

• Extreme flexibility and crack bridging: Elongation at break is at least 750% ± 150% (at 23°C). The product effectively bridges cracks and fissures in the substrate up to 0.50 mm wide, even at 0°C.
• High thermal resistance: Retains its properties over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +65°C.
• Fast drying time: The coating becomes dust-dry after approximately 3 hours (at 15–20°C).

Application

The product is ideal for use as a highly effective, seamless waterproofing coating. For maximum sealing in particularly demanding areas, it is recommended to apply the material in two coats using a cross-coating method.

Yield and Consumption

Consumption depends directly on the planned layer thickness:

• Standard layer (1.0 mm): approx. 1.1 kg/m².
• Kit yield: 1 kit (20 kg) covers approx. 10 m² at a membrane thickness of 2.0 mm.

The kit consists of two components which, when mixed, form a gray liquid with a cream-like consistency that is easy to apply:

Application instructions and work tips

1. Material preparation

Add the entire contents of Component B to Component A and mix thoroughly for approximately 5 minutes (at approximately 400 rpm). Then pour the mixture into a clean second container and mix again for approximately 3 minutes.

Important: The working time of the mixed material is 15–20 minutes (at 15–20°C).

2. Application conditions

• Apply only to a properly prepared and completely dry substrate (do not apply to damp surfaces).
• Optimal application temperature: 15 ± 10°C.
• For the first 3 hours after application (until the coating becomes dust-dry), protect it from direct contact with water or moisture.

3. Cleaning tools

• Before curing: Tools and spills can be cleaned using suitable organic solvents, such as xylene.
• After curing: The material becomes insoluble – removal is possible only mechanically.

Storage

Store the product in a dry, shaded place at an optimal temperature between 10°C and 25°C.
