Epidian 6011 - very low viscosity epoxy resin (available sizes: 1 kg, 5 kg, 50 kg, 200 kg)

Epidian 6011 is a modified epoxy resin with very low viscosity, in the form of a clear, light yellow liquid. It is perfectly suited as a wetting agent for hand layup with glass, carbon, etc. reinforcement, as well as for vacuum layup. It can also be used for impregnating wood and other porous materials, e.g., PU foams. It does not dissolve polystyrene. Together with the Z1 or IDA hardener, it is perfectly suited for repairing polyester-glass laminate. PZH certificate allowing contact with drinking water and other food products.

Physicochemical properties:

• Form: low-viscosity liquid
• Color: light yellow to yellow
• Epoxy number: 0.49-0.51 mol/100g
• Boiling point: > 150°C
• Flash point: 142°C
• Density at 25°C: approx. 1.10 g/cm3
• Viscosity at 25°C: 200 – 400 mPa s

Composition with hardeners per 100 parts by weight of Epidian 6011 resin:

• hardener U1 – 40 parts by weight, gel time at room temperature 50 min.
• hardener Z1 – 12 parts by weight, gel time at room temperature 40 min
• hardener TFF – 24 parts by weight, gel time at room temperature 20 min.
• hardener IDA – 50 parts by weight, gel time at room temperature 50 min.
• hardener PAC – 60 to 100 parts by weight.

Full mechanical strength after 7 days at room temperature.
